Our range of sensors is tried and tested. We can integrate any of these sensors into our Windcheck display and software.
We provide a fully stabilised 7m Telescopic mast for our sensors.

Conventional analogue cup and vane combined system - Reed switch operation.
Combined sensor unit
Suitable for Class 2 events and regional competitions.
An annual certificate of calibration is required
Conventional analogue cup and vane instruments - LED optical sensor.
Approved for Class 1 events.
An annual certificate of calibration is required.
Ultrasonic wind speed and direction sensor system.
Approved for Class 1 events.
No calibration is required.
There are two types of anemometer system for your consideration, the conventional cup and vane system or the ultrasonic measuring system.
1. The Conventional cup anemometer and wind direction vane system.
This is a mechanical system, it is presented with a certificate of calibration which is valid for 2 years of use in our working environment.
With a conventional system, competitors can see the anemometer spin rate and wind direction change.
O.E.M. certificates of anemometer cup calibration are provided with each system.
The end user is responsible for maintaining the equipment and presenting a current certificate of calibration to the Chief Judge if required.
2. The Ultrasonic system.
Ultrasonic systems have no moving parts, they need no further calibration, however, with an ultrasonic system, we must rely on the careful handling of the sensor unit to ensure its accuracy.
The Anemometer systems as shown, are fully integrated via a laptop pc into our Competition Manager application, this will give you a continuous record of all the wind speed and direction data during the event.
Deciding which is the best anemometer system for you will be determined by what you want it to do and, how much you are prepared to spend.
A basic system suitable for club training might be, the MetOne 034E, if you are considering hosting national or international events, you should consider the MetOne 010C and 020D, or the ultrasonic sensor options.
The original equipment manufacturers provide certificates of calibration as required and offer a full range of servicing facilities.
